Hello everyone,
This isn't the best way to notify folks but I don't have contact information for everyone out there. Kent died on Friday morning from heart failure and other complications. It happened in the hospital and he was not conscious at the time. There will be a wake/service for him but due to family obligations it will probably be in mid August. Sunday August 19 is the tentative date. The plan is to host it in the back yard of his house.
Please feel free to contact me if you want any more information or would like to be informed on final dates. times, and location for the service. Also please forward this to anyone you feel appropriate.

August 19th is not a good date for me, I think I will be out of state. Oddly enough, it has to do with respecting the wishes of a man now dead.

Nate would probably be able to say for sure.

The event that was to take me out of state is August 6-12th, and will take 3 days in front and 3 days after for travel.
I'll know more later.

Looks like Saturday June 16th we will have a BBQ for those that don't want to wait until the formal celebration in August. Mikey suggested Nancy Boyd Park (where we have been playing football for the last few years). Let's start letting people know. Noon-ish. I'll bring a bunch of burgers and drinks and stuff, folks can feel free to bring things if they want but it isn't necessary. I think they have a couple of built-in BBQ's there we can take over.
